Description

Peanut Butter Smores Puff Pastry Pop Tarts combine flaky puff pastry with peanut butter, graham crackers, and chocolate, topped with broiled marshmallows for a delicious twist on classic s’mores.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4 equal rectangles.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on one half of each pastry rectangle, leaving a small border.
  4. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers and chocolate chips over the peanut butter.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  6. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling to create pockets. Press the edges with a fork to seal.
  7. Place the stuffed pastry pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining egg wash.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Remove from oven. Top each pastry with mini marshmallows.
  10. Broil for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully, until marshmallows are toasted and golden.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving your peanut butter smores puff pastry.

Notes

  • Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed but still cold for best results.
  • Watch marshmallows closely under the broiler to prevent burning.
  • These peanut butter smores puffs are best enjoyed warm.
