Description

This fail-proof homemade mayo recipe is rich, creamy, and easy to make with a handful of ingredients in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole large egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup avocado oil (or other neutral oil)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Using a large mouth jar or glass, add the egg, lemon juice, and mustard. Ensure the immersion blender fits into the jar so the ingredients reach the blades.
  2. Remove the blender, add the garlic and salt, and pour in the oil. Let it set for 1 minute before blending.
  3. Add your immersion blender and process on high. Tilt the blender to the side and slowly rise to the top to fully blend. This should take about 1 minute.
  4. Cover and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
