Ingredients

  • 90 ml heavy cream
  • 200 g dark cooking chocolate (40% cocoa), finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
  • 1/3 cup chocolate sprinkles for coating

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers. Remove from heat.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the grated orange peel using a whisk until smooth and glossy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 90 minutes until firm.
  5. Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll into balls (about one inch in diameter).
  6. Roll each truffle in chocolate sprinkles until fully coated and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate again for 30 minutes before serving.
