Description

Sweet and salty pretzels coated in homemade toffee and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread mini pretzels evenly in a single layer over the sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in brown sugar, honey, and salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 3–4 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour hot toffee mixture over pretzels, ensuring full coating.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts and gently press into toffee.
  7. Bake for 7–10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool completely on baking sheet before breaking into pieces.
